The Inductive Loop Vehicle Detector is a device that detects vehicle presence through inductive loops embedded under the road surface. When a vehicle passes over or remains above the loop, the detector captures changes in the electromagnetic properties of the metal body and triggers a signal output.

This detection method offers high accuracy, stability, and strong anti-interference capabilities, making it widely used in applications such as barrier gate control, traffic signal management, and vehicle counting.

    Working Principle

     Electromagnetic Induction: An alternating electromagnetic field is generated by a环形 (loop) embedded under the road surface.


    Vehicle Detection: When a metal vehicle passes over the loop area, the metal body causes a change in the loop's inductance.


    Signal Processing: The detector analyzes the inductance change to determine vehicle presence status and outputs a switch signal.

     Vehicle Presence Detection: Accurately detects whether a vehicle is positioned above the loop.


    Pass-Through Detection: Detects the moment and direction of vehicle passage over the loop.


    Counting Function: Counts the number of vehicles passing over the loop.


    Speed Estimation: Estimates vehicle speed based on loop length and passage time.
